PS. Жёсткий диск - только поверхность, тестим MHDD или Викторией. Возможна проблема с самим диском или с Interrupt Request Packet (IRP) пакетом.
Так же присиной может быть большая фрагментация диска, проблема в антивирусном програмном обеспечение или в ПО слежения за дисками (drive monitoring).

Решение:
1. Проверьте диск с помощмью утилит ChkDsk или ScanDisk.
2. Отключите сторонние фильтры файловой системы (такие как антивирусные сканнеры, брандмауэры, утилиты для архивирования данных)
3. Проверьте версию файла NTFS.SYS и убедитесь, что он соответствует действующей операционной системе и сервисному паку.
4. Не, не с самой картой, а с компонентом драйвера, отвечающим за DirectX. Если не поможет, но допустимо - попробуйте удалить DirectX имеющейся версии (10? 11?) и поставить версию 9с. Также попробуйте использовать более старые видеодрайверы.

Купил я его в январе этого года. Машинка довольно не хилая (4 ядра, 4 ГБ ОЗУ, Видеокарта 1 ГБ, HDD 1 ТБ). И с каждым днём глюки стали повторяться всё чаще. Вырубался он в разных ситуациях - от нескольких часов игры в довольно мощные игрухи до нескольких минут загрузки винды (замечал, что часто глючил при открытии браузерок с флешем). Характерные особенности глюка: зависает на полторы-две секунды с зависанием звука (противное пищание)а потом синий экран с текстом, который мне сегодня удалось поймать (синий экран тоже завис на неопределённое время :D ). Вот весь текст:
