найти замену процессору SAB80C537-16

Всем привет.
Мне как практиканту задали задачу, найти замену процессору SAB80C537-16. Есть измерительный прибор, который имеет такой процессор. Они сказали, что есть идея заменить этот процессор на модерновый. Понятно , что в старый слот его не вставишь, будет дополнительная плата которая будет вставлена на место старого процессора, и на ней будет расположен модерновый процессор.

Подскажите пожалуйста где копать.... или может будут конкретные варианты замены.

А зачем вообще менять? Если всё работает, то пусть работает.

Если всё-таки очень нужно, я начал бы с просмотра более современных Сименсовских процов, желательно совпадающих по цоколёвке(что вполне возможно) с более высокой тактовой частотой. Либо выбрать что-нибудь из процов Silicon Laboratories Inc. Заметь, что такая замена(второй вариант) предполагает изменение программы.

Из этой серии осталось два микроконтроллера С505 и С515 которые, по моему мнению, не стоит закладывать в новые разработки, они однократного программирования, лучше использовать с flash памятью. Тут остается https://www.silabs.com/

и вообще, архитектура Intel8051 изжила себя как класс
