Miranda IM

Miranda IM — чрезвычайно удобная и жутко миниатюрная программа для общения в сети ICQ, которая поддерживает также сети AIM, Jabber и MSN. Расширяется плагинами. При помощи плагинов можно полностью изменить интерфейс, иконки, смайлики. Добавляются новые возможности, как например проверка электронной почты.

Протокол какой? Залазь в его настройки - может там установлено "хранить контакты на сервере" или что-то в этом духе

проблема решилась обновлением модулей

последняя версия 0.8.11

проблема под виндовс 7 другая есть
файлы не сохраняются, потому что папка програмс файлы только для админа

А Миринда поддерживает СПАМ контроль?

У неё есть свой спам-блокер плюс есть антиспам-плагины, предлагающие ввести какую-то последовательность символов для идентификации человека, что он не бот.
